The Overall Structure

• Registration opens on June 1st. Anyone worldwide can register for FREE! It's really important to me that there are no financial barriers to taking part. 
• The workshops all go live on July 1st, and remain live until August 3rd. Feedback from past events said that people wanted longer to watch - and here it is!
• Most teachers have a "freebie" for you to download and enjoy. Explore the Teacher Pages to find them all. 
• You can register for a Quiltalong at any time. You'll find all the details on this page. 
• Registered attendees can also use our private, off-facebook community to share and chat. Information about this is here.
• Just like the Tour de France, the Tour de Fabric has a leaderboard - you'll find it in the Community. If you enjoy friendly competition and completing challenges then I've got good news for you - there is a prize that will be awarded on August 3rd to the top scorer. I could have gone with a yellow jersey but instead we have the amazing trophy below - and yes! The scissors work!
• Not interested in the leaderboard? That's not a problem. You can just ignore that part of things and enjoy everything else going on. 

The Challenges

• The workshops go live on July 1, and each Teacher has set you all a challenge! It might be to show a work in progress or to select a fabric that meets a specific criteria. You'll be able to post in the Community to "complete" the challenge, or purely to share and see what others have posted. Completing a challenge is one way of getting points for the leaderboard!
• Before the workshops go live, I've set up a few simple challenges to get us all started, such as introducing yourself. It's a fun way to get to meet and find out about new quilters. Pop into the Community and you'll see everything there.
