"I am longarm quilter, designer, and teacher living in Grand Lake, Colorado. My lifelong love of sewing and creating began as a 4-H youth in Kansas where I sewed many projects for the county fair. This inspired me to study clothing design and textiles at Kansas State University where I also started my career as an Extension Agent in rural Kansas. I began quilting 2016 when a friend bought her longarm quilter and encouraged me to make my first quilt. After that, I was hooked!

In 2020, I bought a longarm and launched my own longarm business. I've worked with quilters to finish over 350 of their lovely quilts. I also lived in the Denver area for over 25 years and spent 20 of those in nonprofit management serving community organizations. In 2021, I combined my passion for community and creating and served as the Executive Director of the US Quilts of Valor Foundation until the end of 2023.

These days, I'm exploring art quilting and have immersed myself in creating quilts with words. I was also a recent contributor to Fons and Porter Magazine as a guest columnist on longarming and have been a guest on the For the Love of Quilting show. My work has also been featured in McCall's Quick and Easy Quilts. When I am not quilting, you'll find me enjoying the mountains, reading, and traveling with my family."
