"Hi there, I'm Jo, a quilter, designer, and community builder who believes quilting is better together. I started quilting with my mom when I was in high school. Now, I design fabric and quilt patterns, as well as host virtual quilt alongs.

I host monthly Zoom quilting sessions where we chat, share progress, and cheer each other on. Everyone is welcome. We also have great community in the Spring to Spring Temperature Quilt Along.

One of my other favorite community projects is the Sprout Challenge, where we have a different six week quilting challenge every January.

My goal is to build a welcoming, inspiring quilting space where you can learn something new, meet new friends, and celebrate our quilt progress."

"Tropical Leaf Magic With Fabric"

Come explore the vibrant world of appliqué and create a lush tropical leaf that will be the start of many.

In this beginner friendly workshop, you'll learn:
- How to turn bold, organic shapes into eye-catching art using simple appliqué techniques.
- Confidently cut, fuse and stitch tropical leaves
- Get ideas with what to do with your freshly appliquéd leaf. You might use it for a mini quilt, a bag, a big quilt, or to embellish your clothing.

You'll leave with:
- An in progress tropical leaf project
- A printable pattern to use again and again
- A burst of fresh inspiration to bring a little island magic to your next quilt.
