"Getting Started with Free Motion Quilting"
Join HollyAnne Knight of String & Story to learn the foundational skills of free motion quilting. Free motion quilting on your home machine is a fun, creative, and cost effective way to finish your own quilts. Plus, you get more joy units from a single project! During our time together, I'll teach you the supplies you need to free motion quilt, how to set up your quilting space for pain-free quilting, how to adjust your tension for gorgeous stitches, and how to stitch two free motion quilting motifs. By the end of our time together, you'll understand the mechanics of FMQ, be able to doodle your first motifs, and even feel confident trying it yourself! Whether you've tried FMQ before without success, are nervous to begin because you're "not an artist," or just haven't been sure how to get started, I can show you how to free motion quilt with confdence!
