"Hi! I'm Cindy Bader, owner of Patterns on the Prairie. I'm a passionate quilter, national educator, guild speaker, and quilt pattern designer with over 30 years of experience in the quilting world. I love helping quilters of all ages and skill levels grow in their quilting journey - always with kindness, encouragement, and a genuine desire to see you succeed.
I live in rural Minnesota with my husband and pup, Yuki. I have 14 kids (3 of my own, one son-in-law, and we've hosted 10 exchange students from around the world that have become my international kids), and one grandchild.
My goal is to help you create beautiful, one-of-a-kind quilts for yourself and your loved ones. If you've ever looked at one of my patterns and thought, "I wish I could make that," I'm here to tell you, you absolutely can - and I'll be with you every step of the way. "Mosaic Fusible Applique‚ Fast and Fabulous!"
Come learn about mosaic fusible appliqué and let's make a project together! Whether you've never heard of mosaic appliqué or just want to sharpen your skills, this fun and informative session will walk you through the entire process from start to finish. We'll begin by exploring what mosaic appliqué is, and which fusible adhesives are available on the market. I'll share my personal favorite and explain why it's different from the others. Then we'll put your knowledge into practice by making a simple, mosaic appliqué butterfly tote bag together. This project is designed to be quick and confidence-boosting, so you'll walk away with a finished piece and the skills to start your own mosaic appliqué journey!
