I am a quilter and aerospace engineer from Houston, TX. My creative and technical sides have always been intertwined, from drawing Disney characters and memorizing constellations as a kid to taking humans back to the moon and dreaming up new quilts today. Quilting perfectly combines my engineering and artistic mindsets, and I love the puzzle-solving required to turn an idea into reality. My quilts feature bright colors, bold lines, and graphic shapes that are easy to make but pack a visual punch.

My Workshop

Quilted fabric postcards are a fun way to use fabric scraps, try new techniques, experiment with color and thread, and bring smiles to family and friends around the globe. This lecture include a short introduction followed by a detailed look at my postcard-making process. I will demonstrate key steps, discuss different material options and finishing techniques, and give you plenty of tips and tricks for quilted postcard success!
